We acquired Della in 2002 from the Haydock family in Saskatchewan. This feminine and elegant cow had a wonderful breeding record behind her. She has what can only be described as a perfect udder. Her progeny testifies as to her overall good quality.

She came to us with a heifer calf, Matlock Melody 48M, at foot. This youngster went on to be Reserve National Heifer Calf Champion that year. And Melody has given us a calf of her own this year.

Della produced a lovely red heifer, Poplar Lane Harmony 6N, for us in 2003, a full sister to Melody. Harmony was sold, bred to Byland Gold Spear, to Fantasy Lane Farms in Ontario.

We plan to flush Della next year to an exciting new American sire which will provide a total outcross to genetics in Canada.
